Economic Law Session of 2016 Guangdong Graduate Students Academic Forum


Under the Guangdong Graduate Students Educating Innovation Projects approved by Guangdong Education Department, JNU will hold the economic law session of 2016 Guangdong Graduate Students Academic Forum on May 14 and 15. The Theme is “Hotspots of Anti-Monopoly at Home and Abroad: Theories and Practice.”


Sponsored by the Guangdong Academic Degrees Committee Office, the forum is co-organized by several institutions, including the JNU Law School and College of Intellectual Property, the national education and training base for outstanding legal talents; JNU’s Research Center on Competition Law and Industrial Development, the enforcement and cooperation base of anti-monopoly law; and JNU’s Research Center on Intellectual Property and the Rule of Law, the key research base of humanities and social science for colleges in Guangdong.


Its aims are fully implementing the spirit of the third, fourth and fifth plenary sessions of the 18th central committee of CPC; effectively putting the medium- and long-term educational reform and developmental plans into practice; fostering graduate students’ enterprising spirits and creative abilities; and promoting the further development of economic law, especially the frontier research of anti-monopoly law. Although hosted in Guangdong Province, the forum will embrace Ph.D. law students across the nation joining the project. It will also invite top experts, including theorists and practical masters, to lecture and provide a platform for students to exchange ideas. Excellent papers will be selected and published, and the writers will be awarded prizes and bonuses.
