JNU’s International School held a High Table Dinner to share experiences on March 25. Wang Liwei, dean of the International School; Song Jingsong and Chen Hai, teachers in the college; and Tang Huilan, Yang Weibing and Chen Xiaoli, members of American International Assurance (AIA), attended, along with 16 students.
In a speech, Wang expressed hope that students would focus on both social etiquette and professional knowledge, highlighting the importance of spiritual outlook and courteous manners through his own experiences. He also extended his appreciation to the AIA team for encouraging International School students to “accumulate practical experience” and offering internship opportunities in the company.

Participants enjoyed delicious food and communicated with one another. Students expressed their uncertainty about their careers in the near future but received advice from the AIA team. Wang also mentioned that students need to acquire not only professional knowledge, but also good social etiquette in Jinan University’s small society. They need to cherish the opportunities offered by Jinan University to enhance their social adaptability by learning enterprise culture and spirit, he said.
