Extending a warm welcome to the delegation, Vice President Song briefly introduced JNU’s operating situation and cooperation with universities in Italy. Song said he hoped building an art bridge between Italian designers and professors of the Arts College would promote exchange and cooperation between JNU and other universities in Italy in art or other aspects.

Mars Mialo, head of the delegation, praised JNU’s history as presented by the History Museum and its achievements in inheriting culture, imparting knowledge and educating people, especially in art design, by professors in the Arts College. He expressed his hope to become a modern Marco Polo to promote exchanges in culture and education, especially cooperation in architecture and design, between the Polytechnic University of Milan, Kore University of Enna in Sicily, and JNU.
